How it works
The short version: choose the plan, keep the email handy, connect to Wi-Fi when you land, activate the eSIM, then use it for mobile data overseas.
Choose your plan
Search your destination, check your phone is eSIM-compatible and choose the data plan that suits your trip.
Keep the email handy
We'll send you an email that has your quick install button, QR code and manual setup details. Keep it ready for when you land.
Connect to airport Wi-Fi
Once you land, use steady airport Wi-Fi where possible. This gives your eSIM a cleaner local connection before you activate it.
Activate your eSIM
Open our email on the phone you'll use overseas. Use the quick install if you can. If you need the QR code, scan it from another screen or press and hold it in the email to open it.
Turn on travel data
When you are overseas, choose the travel eSIM for Mobile Data. Turn Data Roaming on for that eSIM, and leave it off on your Australian SIM unless you want to use your usual roaming.
Keep these three setup rules handy.
What arrives after payment
We send the quick install button, QR code and manual setup details to your checkout email.
Check when the plan starts
Some plans start on installation. Others start when the eSIM first connects to a supported network.
Do not delete it yet
If setup looks wrong, ask support before deleting an installed eSIM. Some eSIMs cannot be reused after removal.
Two checks make setup smoother.
Check the phone before checkout, keep the setup email until your trip is finished, and avoid deleting an installed eSIM unless support asks you to.
