Is Simify worth it? Compare the selected Japan plan

Suppose you budget 0.5GB a day plus 2GB spare for fourteen days: 9GB. Either selected 10GB/30-day offer covers it with 1GB left. Both are data only; an Australian bank text still goes to the Australian service and ordinary calls need a suitable voice arrangement.

For that stated phone-data budget, Simify’s selected 10GB/30-day plan is A$49, while our A$19.95 fixed plan costs A$29.05 less. If you're already happy with Simify and prefer keeping your trips in the same account, its selected plan still fits the amount and duration. Don't buy a larger tier merely because a daily average in the shop looks small.

Simify's current Japan page lists 60GB/60 days at A$159 and 100GB/90 days at A$219. Those are one total allowance across each validity period, not the same data amount renewed monthly.

For an assumed sixty-day stay using 40GB total, the 60GB/60-day option fits with 20GB left. A 30-day plan doesn't cover the stay just because its allowance is large. Our store has different longer-validity options, so the A$19.95 holiday price above isn't an equivalent sixty-day quote or proof of the better long-stay buy.

Simify's selected Japan data listing explicitly says hotspot/tethering is supported. Our quoted fixed Japan plan describes it as dependent on the network and phone. If a laptop connection is essential, that difference belongs beside the price.

Give the seller the exact plan, device and intended sharing amount before relying on it for work. For a stated 10GB hotspot requirement over seven days, our A$24.95 Japan 10Mbps unlimited offer is insufficient because its hotspot allowance is 6GB total. Our A$34.95 seven-day full-speed offer has no separate hotspot allowance, subject to network and phone performance. Different products in the same shop can suit different jobs.

Simify's selected Japan listing states a 180-day activation window and validity from first network connection. Our selected 10GB/30-day offer has 60 days to start. If departure is ninety days away, that difference affects when you should buy; it doesn't establish that installing early is necessary.

For our purchase, save the email before flying and install after landing on working airport Wi-Fi after sign-in, or on hotel Wi-Fi if needed. Keep Australian-line data roaming off and automatic switching disabled. Use the issued instructions for whichever provider you buy.

Simify's eSIM help-centre policy gives a possible unused/unactivated direct-purchase route within 180 days, with additional conditions for uninstalled incompatible or locked-device cases. Connection problems should be reported during the trip and given an opportunity for troubleshooting; partial or full refunds depend on circumstances and usage.

Its store returns page uses a different thirty-day framework. Keep the order date and ask support which eSIM provision applies if the documents lead to different answers. That is more useful than treating the discrepancy as a verdict on every customer outcome.
