Our selected Japan offer is A$5.05 below SimCorner's for that stated allowance and duration. That isn't a measured speed comparison. The US-dollar figures need conversion and any card fees before a price decision; a smaller printed number isn't an Australian-dollar saving.
For a fourteen-day trip budgeted at 8GB, any of those 10GB/30-day allowances covers the declared data and dates, leaving 2GB spare. For 12GB, none does without another purchase or a larger option. These are chosen trip inputs, not average traveller usage.
For sharing, distinguish permission from the amount you can share
SimCorner's selected Japan fixed-data page permits hotspot. Travelkon's current Japan page does too. Our selected fixed offer describes sharing as dependent on phone and network, so ask us about the exact plan if your laptop connection is essential.
Holafly's Japan service is a different alternative: unlimited-labelled phone data, with 1GB of hotspot per day. Seven days gives seven separate daily sharing amounts. It doesn't let you move tomorrow's 1GB into today's 3GB laptop session.
Our seven-day Japan full-speed unlimited offer at A$34.95 has no separate hotspot allowance in its selected terms. It may fit heavier sharing better, but reception, congestion and device performance still affect the connection. Keep a suitable Wi-Fi alternative for an essential meeting.
For a refund concern, fix the order you already have first
If a SimCorner profile isn't connecting, keep it installed and use the SimCorner recovery steps before buying twice. Contact support@simcorner.com with the order, phone, country and fault while you're travelling.
A competing refund headline doesn't resolve that existing order. Saily's generally-unused route has a more-than-99%-remaining condition; service-quality complaints have a separate review. Ubigi's preloaded QR route generally requires the QR to remain unscanned, with a separate technical-fault remedy. Neither is a universal promise to refund an installed plan because the holiday changed.
When staying with SimCorner makes sense
If its selected plan covers your dates, supplies the sharing or ordinary service you need and is priced acceptably, there may be no reason to move. SimCorner also sells physical SIMs, useful when the phone can't take eSIM.
