For illustration only, US$16.50 at an assumed A$1.50 per US$1 converts to A$24.75 before any card fee. At an assumed 3% fee, that becomes about A$25.49. Those are invented inputs for the arithmetic, not a current exchange-rate quote or a claim about the fee your card charges.

A seven-day unlimited plan and a 10GB/30-day pool aren’t interchangeable. If you expect 8GB over 14 days, the single allowance fits the amount and duration. A seven-day unlimited offer doesn’t cover the whole stay in one purchase. If you need 30GB, the 10GB price isn’t a suitable budget comparison.

Hotspot, high-speed thresholds, reduced-speed terms, start windows and ordinary call/SMS inclusions can also change the choice. Compare the exact offer that fits those requirements, not the cheapest card on each homepage.

Before paying, save the selected allowance, duration, final currency and total, plus any coupon conditions. Don’t deduct referral rewards or future store credit from the amount due today. That gives you a fair comparison and a useful record if the offer changes later.
