Put the busiest day beside the whole trip
For a current Europe trip, compare the daily and fixed-data offers on the current 32-country range. An older Europe regional order keeps its own country list and conditions, so the earlier name should not quietly become a promise about a new purchase.
Assume you plan to use 500MB of phone data on six days and 3GB on one busy day: 6 × 0.5GB + 3GB = 6GB for the week. Those are stated planning inputs, not measured app averages. A daily plan has to fit that 3GB day if you need the whole transfer at high speed; spare allowance from a quiet day cannot be moved across.
Compare these seven-day purchases
| High-speed allowance | Period and total price | After the daily amount | When fast data renews |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1GB/day | 7 days, A$48.75 | Then continues at 384kbps | Resets daily at midnight in the eSIM card timezone (UTC+8), not local European midnight. |
| 3GB/day | 7 days, A$71.92 | Then continues at 384kbps | Resets daily at midnight in the eSIM card timezone (UTC+8), not local European midnight. |
The 10GB plan, valid for 30 days, costs A$31.95 and covers the example’s 6GB and seven days. We would start there for this uneven use: you can spend more on the 3GB day and less on the quieter days. Use your own planner estimate or known usage if the example does not resemble your trip.
If you specifically want a daily structure for a 3GB high-speed day, the lowest-priced checked seven-day daily option meeting that amount is 3GB/day at A$71.92. Compare the table’s reset and reduced-speed terms alongside the price, since the smallest allowance is not necessarily the cheapest offer.
When the plan starts, and whether you can share it
For the 1GB/day and 3GB/day options, start using it within 60 days after purchase. The plan’s days begin when it first connects to a mobile network covered by the plan. Sharing depends on the phone and local network. You cannot reload this offer, so buy enough days for the full stay.
If you need a laptop for work, tell us the exact plan, your phone, the device you will connect and how much you need to upload before buying. The daily data amount does not confirm that sharing will work. If we cannot confirm the connection you need, arrange a separate suitable service for the work.
Use the Europe product page for the selected offer’s named countries. A regional plan follows that list and its original expiry across the route; crossing a border does not restart the period or add a new purchase’s allowance.
These are current Europe examples, not the old regional order’s prices or coverage. The current range has 32 listed countries and excludes Morocco and Andorra. An existing order still uses the coverage, allowance and timing issued with it; a Morocco leg needs a separately supported offer.
Finish setup after landing, while Wi-Fi is working
Buy before flying and save the email, then install after landing on airport Wi-Fi that can open a normal webpage. If it will not work, use hotel Wi-Fi or another steady trusted connection. Select the travel line for data, follow that order’s roaming/APN instructions and keep home-line data roaming and automatic switching off unless you intentionally want the home carrier’s service.
If data slows, check how much fast data you have used and when it renews before buying more or changing settings. Keep the profile installed; if the timing or remaining allowance is unclear, contact the Travel Desk with the order reference, plan name, current country and what the phone shows. Do not buy again or rescan the QR code while we check the existing eSIM.
