Asia isn’t a single mobile-data footprint. Start with the countries, then choose the allowance. A broader regional name can cost more without adding anything you’ll use on this trip.
The planner above gives you a starting estimate from dates, phone-use choices and any sharing. If no destination is selected, choose it first. Check both the amount of data and the number of usable days in its returned options; an allowance has to cover the trip as well as the estimated use.
A smaller regional footprint can be the better buy
Allow 1GB in Singapore, 2GB in Malaysia and 2GB in Vietnam. The 5GB total becomes 6.25GB with 25% added.
Those are planning inputs, not a measured average. Use your own expected transfers or the planner estimate for a personal budget. If you use the planner result instead, its buffer is already included; don’t add the same 25% again.
The Asia 10GB/30-day option fits this example at A$59.95. Asia 7 Areas also includes Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam, with 10GB/30 days at A$34.95. For this exact route and amount, that saves A$25. The two products don’t cover the same full country list, so use the saving only when the narrower one covers your own itinerary.
Put the amount beside the period
The worked 15-day example below comes to 6.25GB including a 25% buffer. The current 10GB/30-day Asia option covers that assumed amount and period. Your own dates and use can produce a different result.
| Current option | Period | Price | Fit for this example |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3GB | 30 days | A$23.95 | Not enough data for this example |
| 5GB | 30 days | A$34.95 | Not enough data for this example |
| 10GB | 30 days | A$59.95 | Enough data and days for this example |
Match the places and the plan structure
The selected fixed-data option lists: Macao, Hong Kong, Israel, India, Japan, South Korea, China, New Zealand, Malaysia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Cambodia, Sri Lanka.
This is one allowance to use across the listed places. It does not refill each day or at a border. That lets you use more on a busy day and less on a quiet one. A daily plan works differently: you get a fresh fast-data allowance on its own daily schedule.
If you need a laptop connection, confirm sharing for the exact plan, phone and any separate data limit before buying. These offers make sharing dependent on the network and device, so enough gigabytes alone do not promise it will work. If we cannot confirm the work connection you need, arrange another suitable service for that task.
Keep the big downloads on Wi-Fi
Download entertainment and offline maps on Wi-Fi before travel. Pause cloud-photo backup and automatic app updates on mobile data. If those uploads were already in your starting usage total, don’t add them to the budget a second time.
For the actual offer, open Asia plans. Buy before flying and save the setup email; install after landing on working airport Wi-Fi, hotel Wi-Fi or another steady, trusted connection.
