For a fourteen-day holiday budgeted at 8GB, either total leaves 2GB spare. For a forty-day trip, neither quoted thirty-day product covers the full stay as one allowance. For essential laptop use, resolve sharing suitability before choosing on the A$5.05 difference.
Travelkon's current page also lists 200kbps after the selected high-speed amount. Our selected fixed-data Japan plan stops data when its allowance is used and is non-reloadable. If you run out, arrange a new eligible purchase and profile on working Wi-Fi. A reduced-speed continuation and a hard stop are different outcomes.
Travelkon has two pre-travel clocks
Travelkon's updated Japan page gives 180 days from purchase to redeem the code. Once redeemed, the issued QR is valid for fifteen days; the plan's running days start on first connection to the supported network.
For example, buying thirty days before arrival can fit the redemption window, but redeeming immediately creates a fifteen-day QR deadline before you land. Keep the code and redeem close enough to travel for the issued QR to remain valid. Follow the resulting order instructions rather than confusing code redemption with starting thirty days of data.
Our selected 10GB offer has sixty days from purchase to first supported-network start. For us, buy within that window, save the delivery email and install after landing on working airport Wi-Fi after signing in and testing a webpage. Hotel Wi-Fi is the fallback if the airport connection isn't steady.
Compare reviews where you'll read them
If independent customer feedback is part of your decision, read Travelkon's current public listing and look at recent reports about the destination or task that matters to you. Review counts and averages change; an old count isn't evidence of today's support or network outcome.
The plan table above doesn't establish either seller's real response time or actual speed at your hotel. A shared network name also doesn't prove identical routing, priority or performance.
Make the choice around the trip
For an app-based fourteen-day trip needing the assumed 8GB, our Japan 10GB option gives the stated allowance for A$19.95. If the selected Travelkon offer's explicit hotspot permission or reduced-speed continuation better suits you, include those differences with its A$25 price.
