For daily uploads, Japan full-speed unlimited has no plan-level 10Mbps ceiling and no usage threshold in the supplier terms. Indonesia unlimited also has no stated plan-level speed ceiling. Actual upload speed depends on the local network, device and coverage.
Why 10Mbps matters more for uploading than downloading
A plan-level 10Mbps ceiling matters when you send large files, but it is not a promise of 10Mbps upload. Measured upload speed can be lower than download speed.
A single phone video at high quality can be several hundred megabytes. A day of raw photos from a proper camera runs into gigabytes. At 10Mbps a gigabyte takes roughly fourteen minutes if you get the full rate, and you are unlikely to get the full rate consistently while moving.
Our Japan Unlimited 10Mbps and Thailand plans have a plan-level ceiling of up to 10Mbps before any Thailand 100GB reduction. A bulk transfer may therefore take time, especially when measured upload speed is below that ceiling.
Japan full-speed unlimited has no plan-level speed cap. What you get depends on the network where you are standing, which is the right answer for this use.
Indonesia unlimited has no stated threshold and no stated speed cap in the terms we hold, so volume is not the constraint there.

Thailand has 100GB across the plan before speed drops to 384kbps. Large uploads remain technically possible after that, but could take impractically long.
The setup that works best
A practical split is to schedule bulk uploads over a reliable accommodation connection and use mobile data for smaller urgent transfers during the day.
That is where a no-threshold plan earns its money, because the daytime load is the unpredictable part. Previews to a client, a reel uploaded from a cafe, cloud sync running while you move between locations. Japan full-speed and Indonesia unlimited are built for exactly that shape of day, and neither has a volume ceiling to plan around.
