The discount varies by plan. The 59% headline is the highest rounded discount in this announced list; it doesn’t mean every plan gets 59% off. If your destination isn’t here, browse the destinations and check back for the final campaign list.

There’s only $1.50 between the upcoming 3GB and 5GB offers, and another $3 between 5GB and 10GB. Each has a total allowance to use over its 30-day validity, rather than a fresh allowance every morning.

For a worked example, a ten-day Japan trip budgeted at 0.3GB a day for apps plus 1GB of uploads totals 4GB; a deliberate 25% margin makes it 5GB. That fits the upcoming 5GB offer at A$6.90, while the extra A$3 for 10GB buys another 5GB of room. Use Plan my trip with your own dates, activities and sharing needs rather than treating those assumed amounts as every traveller’s usage.

The start deadline can change the choice too. At our 27 October check, the 3GB plan has 180 days to start, while these 5GB and 10GB plans have 60. Buying for April? Don’t assume the bigger allowance has the longer shelf life. Our buying-ahead guide works through that example.

For unlimited, compare the actual job you need it to do. The seven-day full-speed offer has no total data cap, no routine fair-use threshold and no separate hotspot allowance. Exceptional restrictions to protect the network can still apply, and speeds depend on conditions. It also only covers seven days, so it won’t cover a fortnight just because the data is unlimited.

The local KDDI 14-day offer has unlimited on-phone data under a rolling three-day fair-use policy, with no published GB trigger and possible restricted speeds around 1Mbps. Hotspot is a separate 13GB for the whole plan, with possible speeds around 128kbps afterwards. It counts Japan calendar days from first KDDI data use and has an issued start-by deadline. Read the local KDDI terms if that’s the one you’re considering.

The UK and Europe offers in the table are both 10GB over 30 days. The upcoming Europe offer costs $4.60 more.

For London only, the UK plan may be all you need. For London, Paris and Rome, the exact Europe plan listed here includes the UK, France and Italy. Its 10GB is shared across the trip; it doesn’t restart when you cross a border.

That’s a more useful comparison than simply picking whichever row has the bigger percentage. Check the full country list for every stop, because another plan labelled “Europe” can cover a different set of countries.

For Bali, the Indonesia offer covers the destination. Think about the data you’ll use away from the accommodation: transfers, WhatsApp, maps and ride apps. Hotel Wi-Fi may cover some evening use, but it doesn’t replace having a connection while you’re out.

The sale price doesn’t change a plan’s deadline to start. Some of the offers have 60 days, some have 180, and the local KDDI range uses an issued deadline. Check your selected plan rather than borrowing the rules from another row.

The planned prices will apply automatically when the campaign opens. You won’t need a Black Friday code or an account. Guests will get the same sale prices.

Black Friday offers won’t stack with other coupons, SIM Shop Credit redemption, Mates Rates or Passport Club rewards. Eligible signed-in customers can still earn 5% SIM Shop Credit on the amount paid under the usual conditions. Passport spend progress uses what you actually pay; order and destination progress follow the usual rules. Guests don’t earn account Credit or Passport progress.

If your trip changes, qualifying paid campaign orders will have 365 days from purchase to request a change-of-mind refund, including guest orders, provided the eSIM stays uninstalled, unactivated and unused. We refund the amount actually paid to the original payment method unless you choose another lawful remedy. Earned Credit is reversed and Passport progress is recalculated. Before buying, check your exact phone supports eSIM and is unlocked. Save the setup email, then install after landing on working airport Wi-Fi. If it won’t connect, wait for hotel Wi-Fi or another steady trusted connection. Buying early doesn’t mean installing early.
